freezepruf

I finally decided to apply some freezepruf today... but the seal was broken. So the question is, What color is it supposed to be?? I want to make sure it's still effective/etc

Color was brown

That is the color... to me it almost looks like a light Yoohoo chocolate drink... was tempted to drink some at first. =)

What exactly is freezpruf? I've heard this talked about before for protecting plants for the winter, but don't know what it is or how it works.

I was wondering if you might get frost tomorrow. We had it pretty heavy this morning and it's 39F here just before 10pm. I've had friends south of me report colder temps.

It was frost free this morning at 7am, although CHILLY around 35. I got some things protected but I'm not done yet. No frost tonight though

What I am worried about is this weekend. Arctic air is rushing in, and temps are going south big time. If the warm moisture to the west doesn't slip under the ridge and we get stuck with only the arctic air mass, it might get ugly. Too early to tell, but I'm going to prepare anyway. Frost is coming eventually.

I don't think we got any colder than 39F last night, pretty strange for us to get down that cold that early (before 10pm) and stay there. Nice to not have to go outside to mess around spraing my plants in the cold this morning.

WARNING TO THOSE IN CALIFORNIA

A perfect arctic nuke is coming in. Could be seeing near annual lows. So please protect everything you have and brace for the best.
