Been watching this house with a couple of nice plants all summer, when it got cold, they dug them up and left them leaning on their fence.
Today I rode buy and did'nt see them, looked on the pile under some window's and there they were...!!!! When I was backing up a woman came to the door, we spoke, she told me she had been growing these plants for 10 years and they were to much for them to move anymore. All pups were removed. They were some nice size stumps cut down to about 30", I hope they did'nt freeze, I have them in my garage with my others, she did'nt know what kind they were but I think they are Basjoo's. Should these be alright for spring, the color still looked good, Thanks. |
