Question Flexible Polymer coating for mild winter protection

Has anybody ever tried the "easy gardener cloud cover" for mild frost protection?
Does that work?

I highly doubt it would be good for that. But I bet it would work great to reduce shock when propping pups. :^)

We have tried to wrap my banana plants in Agribon just to find out that they are way too tall to wrap the very top (10 ' p-stem plus leaves). We only get a couple hours of frost in Dec and Jan every now and then but enough to possibly destroy a banana plant. So I was hoping that the "cloud cover" sprayed on the plant would help a little bit.

Frost is only leaf damage.. Now less established plants you might have to worry about. I'd get an old king sized blanket and use a throw rope weight to cover the banana.. tie down and its all good.. :^)
