Default Fiji

Was looking at Public TV yesterday. They have a program caqlled, "Globe Trekker", where they go to different spots around the world. Yesterday, they were going through the South Pacific. I saw a few bananas, in the background, in a couple of shots. One of the stops was Fiji. They actually have a town there called, "Sigatoka". What, if any, connection it has to the disease, I don't know.

john,

The Sigatoka Valley of Fiji gave its name to the Yellow Sigatoka disease! When the related Black Sigatoka became more rampant - it actually displaced Yellow Sig! talk about Germ Warfare!!
