FHIA 3 Harvest

I was looking at the bananas today and thought I saw something yellow on the bunch, sure enough it was a banana starting to ripen. This will be the first FHIA-3s I have tried, can't wait! Hope you enjoy the pictures.FHIA 3 on the left in first picture.

Not too sweet or too tangy, but a very pleasant combination of both. They really are great bananas!

Today, over two years after Nanamans last post I harvested my first FHIA-3 "Sweetheart" bananas.

The corm blew over in a wind storm about a month ago. The bunch does not look the best. I'll report back later as to how they were prepared, and how they tasted. :2239:

Awesome! That's a variety I don't know too much about, but thanks for the info on the flavor of the fruit. I'm gonna do some research in the wiki!
