*****An Update of FHIA-21 Plantain & SH-3640 High Noon 'Nana!*****

Baseball bats (TARS PR Cuerno De Alce/African Rhino Horn Plantain) on the background!....They are keeping fill-in nicely!.....

FHIA-21 Plantain flower started to open!....So far, FHIA-21 Plantain opened 6 hands, revealing big, long plantain fingers!.....This year's FHIA-21 Plantain crop has already, one more hand than last year's crop!.....Also first hand has 14 plantain fingers!....A couple of more plantain fingers than last year first hand!....I'm very happy!

Picture taken on 05/22/2017....

Picture taken on 05/23/2017....

Pictures taken on 05/24/2017...
.

SH-3640 High Noon 'Nana flower finally positioned down!.....Unlike the FHIA-21 Plantain flower, in which is positioned down and parallel to the plant; The SH-3640 High Noon 'Nana flower positioned almost at 45 degrees angle to the plant!....Pictures don't do justice but The SH-3640 High Noon 'Nana flower is literally huge!.....

Pictures taken on 05/24/2017....

*****Bonus*****

I know you guys like pictures!.....LOL.....

The Beautiful, Majestic and Royal French Red Plantain!.....Definitely, another monster platano!.....French Red is approx.. 9 1/2 ft. tall right now, and growing nicely!.....I'm impressed, amazed by such beautiful, stunning colors!...Just for reference, the back private fence is 8 ft. tall....
As you can see in the pictures, I already propped her!....Don't want to loose her, because of high winds!.....I'm really excited, waiting to see this one flowering/blooming!....

*****An update is coming soon!*****

Looking good. I heard that there are some very strong winds in your area today. I cross my fingers that you and your plants will not be impacted.

Comparing to The SH-3640 High Noon last year crop, in which opened only 6 hands 'nana bunch, this year's flowering/blooming SH-3640 High Noon opened a whooping 9 hands bunch!.....Woohooo!......A big bunch!.....

Pictures taken on May 31, 2017....

Wow.. Nice crop coming this year for you...

It looks like your neighbor over the fence is also a nanaman...They say good fences make good neighbors...

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
