Re: Fhia-21
Keith,
I am trying to make sure that I have my FHIA-21 correctly identified in my collection. I cannot find a source that says whether or not the suckers have wine spots or not. I don't remember wine spots on the plants from TARS but that was 3 years ago and I didn't take notes. I would expect it to have wine spots being a plantain. I am stuck between whether this plant I have on my farm is a FHIA-21 or Hartón. |

Yes like potatos!....Just cut in half means in half length and don't take the plantain peel off!...it will come easy off when they boiled green!....Also, a lot of people prefer them boil when they are ripe!....As I mentioned, search (internet) for a Mofongo recipe!..:08: |
