A nice thing about the FHIA-17 is they have a longer ripe shelf life than Cavendish.
Negrita doesn't care about shelf life, she'll eat an entire bunch and take a break. ![]()

If I ate a whole bunch I would take a break too. Used to have a horse but never thought to give them bananas. Does she eat them straight off the plant?

She hasn't drank water for at least a couple of weeks. When she's thirsty she heads over to a carambola tree. Carambola are like eating sweet water balloons. ![]()

"Vieques is best known internationally as the site of a series of protests against the United States Navy's use of the island as a bombing range and testing ground, which led to the Navy's departure in 2003. Today the former navy land is a national wildlife refuge; some of it is open to the public, but much remains closed off due to contamination and/or unexploded ordnance that the military is slowly cleaning up."
