Feral Banana Find
Went to Harris's Hideaway at Lake Harris yesterday and they have many feral banana trees fruiting (at least two different varieties) all over the place by the boat dock. I was not able to hunt/dig up any, let me know if you go Not for the faint of heart- spiders everywhere and real FL thick jungle. Also, be aware, there was a good sized macaque monkey there as well- first time the local regulars had ever seen him. Pretty cool

Re: Feral Banana Find
Hate spiders and snakes. (Cockroaches also but that's another thing.) Have learned to play nice with toads, lizards and little frogs. Monkeys? I'm not sure. I was awoken by a screaming monkey in Costa Rica. I was warned but I sure was glad I was tucked safely in my bed inside the cabina.
