I live in Central Florida, zone 9b. Currently, I have:
Manzano is super vigorous for me and has grown the fastest with the biggest p-stem. Namwa is nice and sturdy and always productive. Raja Puri seems very easy to grow and possibly the most drought resistant. Mysore probably has the most complex taste and I like the coloring of the p-stem and leaves, but it tends to be a thinner p-stem that will topple because it gets so tall before flowering. What is your favorite banana to grow in this area or in similar zone elsewhere? ![]()

I just bought my bananas so at this point I am speculating the Veinte Cohol will be my favorite if my idea of propagation and production works. I am up to 11 kinds now.
