I think someone made a mistake as i got my plants back in august 2014.
now a yr old here is the momma and her babies .

The Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree brings bananas within reach of any home gardener… no matter where you live!

In cold areas, they can easily be grown in containers and moved indoors during the winter. Makes a great looking tropical house plant.

The problem with other varieties that grow 20 ft. tall is you couldn't bring them indoors to ripen fruit. The Cavendish is dwarf-sized, only maturing to 8-10 ft. tall... so you can easily bring it in your kitchen or sunroom and start growing delicious bananas!

Although the tree is a dwarf variety, you still get plenty of regular-sized fruit.

If the fruit is not reason enough to grow the Dwarf Cavendish, the huge leaves and pretty flowers are beautiful to look at. The leaves grow up to 4 feet long, are extremely lush, and provide you with shade and privacy. Young leaves may tinge with red, but the majority of the leaves are a fresh green color. They told me that was a baby And Also its supposed to be from a PUP Not a Culture so they lied all the way around and i did call Many times as well as emailed them . Nothing at all from any of it . Pretty sad

I think that the main pup died............and 3 extra pups emerge from the corm...........

Now you can split them and make 3 new pots...........

The Main pup is still there the root ball and the Single pup is what i got to begin with . here is there reply ALSO the tree has been in the green house since i got it and In winter under lamps . this is not Normal . Their Reply this Yr

Thank you for the email. I apologize for the delay. I understand your concern given the current size of the tree. Keep in mind in the area that you are located this plant recently came out of dormancy. As long at the tree is healthy I wouldn't worry at all about minimal or no growth at this point.

It really takes a year or 2 for a tree to truly establish and in the first 2 to 3 months out of dormancy the energy is focused almost completely on the root system. This is actually what you want as ultimately you will have a stronger, more stable tree and better, faster growth in the future.

Now that your tree is no longer dormant I recommend fertilizing the tree. For organic fertilizer, we recommend using compost. specifically well composted manure or other organic fertilizers. Bananas are heavy feeders so this means they require nutrient rich soil, particularly potassium. Spent banana leaves and cuttings can be used as mulch to help return potassium to the soil.

So for all this time While in the green house and under lights me fertilizing them with Banana Fertilizer . I still need to fertilize them even more and they will Grow ......... LMAO they are in my Organic compost. My pawpaws are doing awesome and my lemons oranges limes kiwi and other Tropicals doing great even my dragon fruit doing awesome in my Compost But these bananas LMAO Yupp they blame me for them sending the wrong tree , Why not just say this DO NOT BUY FROM FAST GROWING TREES they give GREAT LIP SERVICE.
