![]() I have been growing, happily, a namwah type banana for some years. Not many fruits, but the plant survives outside and most years keeps the pstem, and that's all I ask her.
The problem is: the plant is quite tall. My first crop happens at 2,4m (8ft) tall, ratton crop has happened at what i estimated to be 3,5m (12ft). I cant's shake from my mind the idea that i actually have the tall clone of the namwah, and the plant usually sold in europe are the tall ones, because i never see anyone mentioning namwah fruiting at 6ft for the first crop, like I see sometimes here in pics. Does anyone know if there's a nursery in europe that seels TRUE dwarf namwah? I'd like to grow one, at the very least, for easyness to cover it during cold weather. |
