![]() Hi, I just got a small (1 gal. pot) ensete v maurelii and I'm in coastal Va, near the NC and VA borders. It's very hot and humid here, so should I keep my ensete v maurelii in the shade, sun, indoors or..???? I think I will leave it in the pot till next spring since its a little later in the season. What condition do they like? Full sun, part sun, ect. Any growing advice would be very helpful since they are new to me. Would like to keep it around to see it get big next year
![]() Thanks Tim |

![]() I planted mine at the north side of the house. Gets full AM sun then shade in PM. When it passes the rain gutter we will see.
Two years now and the leaf color is amazing. And the spider mites leave it alone unlike any I ever kept potted. I'm betting on the lizzards and tree frogs. Dan |
