Brought my Ensete 'Murelli" out of the garage last week and it is really starting to redden up!!! The garage was unheated and saw at least 28F and this baby did great!!!! What 'cha think!?!?! (Ball cap is at the base for scale)

I've seen a couple of the maurelli's in bloom here in the Houston area and they are quite impressive.

I wonder if it would be possible to force the Ensete corm to multiply by chopping it down when it flowers? Or would it be too late to use that method of propagation by that time?
