I bought two dwarf orinoco banana plants, they were small tissue culture plants. I have had them indoors a little over two months. One was bent over badly. I started to cut it off but as small as it was I wasn't sure it would come back. Right now it is super small and has only produced two small leafs since February. The other dwarf orinoco was real beat up too, but not bent over. The one that wasn't bent over is huge, and it has been in the same soil and environment. If I weighed them both the larger would probably weigh 10 times more that the smaller plant. I have two dwarf cavendish plants in the same soil and environment they are both are growing fast. The small orinoco looks good, but it isnt pushing out leafs. It is either stunted, or stuck where it cant hardly push out new leafs. It is about 8 inches high, and has leafs about 5 inches long. Do you guys think it would survive being pruned back where it could grow back. It has a total of 3 leafs that look good, it is just small.

Why does your pin show you are in China? I would said the TC might be too cold. What are the environmental conditions (day & night) around the plants? temp; sun light, humidity ... how much water & how wet is the soil?

I didn't see an option to upload them from my computer when I tried to post them, just an option to input a URL. I assumed that I needed to post to the pic's to hosting website, then input their URL here on this website when I wanted to post a pic here. I was going to try to make time tonight to do that.
If there is something I am missing someone let me know. |

I too have been defeated by the picture function of this forum. Easiest way is to upload them to photobucket and use the links.

I too have tried and failed several times with the forum's photo function. It seems to upload the pictures and then shows nothing in my gallery or album. Now I have resorted to imgbb.com, as no sign up is needed. Just upload one or more pictures and then use the dropdown menu to select 'BBCode full linked', copy it, and past it in the 'insert image' button of your post.

If you upload and they are not showing it is because they are too big. Resize and save then retry. Or I have an iPad and I just crop them a little and it works fine. File size has to be small vs our modern large image size devices. Just make em smaller.
