dwarf Cavendish help...
 

I went to pikes nursery last weekend and they had tons of "dead" dwarf Cavendish in the water plants section. I got about 12 of them for $2! I know they are not dead because the bulb is still very firm. I took them out of the cold wet dirt that they were in but what do I do now? Do I clean them off real good and let them dry out and plant them next spring or do I go ahead and plant them in some warm indoor soil until I see them growing back and then put them in my greenhouse until spring? Can banana bulbs be dried out and still live?

no experience with it but if I had that I should put them in good fertilized soil with a temperature of 25-35 degrees;)
succes with it, its very cheap:)

I would suggest that you wash them up and leave them out to dry thoroughly at room temperature or cooler.

Then check for soft spots on the corms. If there is no soft spots you can either store them in a cool (50*F) dry place until spring or plant them in your greenhouse.

The corms can be dried out without damaging them and should be stored dry.

What a bargain you got.
