Default Dwarf Brazilian questions

I am so excited to have my first flower on a Dwarf Brazilian, but I have a couple of questions. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to go from flower to edible fruit? Also, the plant is next to a shed and it looks like the bananas will end up on the shed roof. Should I be concerned and any suggestions?[IMG][/IMG]

For me they are always 6 months. Unless it is a massive bunch it looks like it will touch the roof but should fit or just cause the plant to lean some to accommodate the growing bunch. Congrats!

For me, it's been 8-9 months, but that was with bunches that hung over winter, so it might be faster for you since yours will ripen over the warm part of the year.
