Dwarf Brazilian flower-Zone 7a...now what?
Hello, i saw preflag leaf almost 2 weeks ago, this is my first flower. This plant was also one of the very first pups I removed..so it has come along way. I realize this is a very hardy plant, but not sure if there is anything to do to get fruit? In Nov we typically get our first freeze. I winter all my plants indoors in a spare bedroom. However this is a very heavy oak barell pot. I can control my garage pretty easy, so heat is not an issue. Iwas actually going to divide my garage and make a plant room on one side..as my garage faces west and can get alot of sun. Any suggestions on what to do with this beautiful plant?

Re: Dwarf Brazilian flower-Zone 7a...now what?
Congrats! Dwarf Brazilian has a very long filling period! About 4-5months in warm weather! So I would take it slow and keep the temp as average as you can! Don’t look for ripe fruit over winter! Just try to maintain the leaves until spring time. Be careful not to sun burn them this spring!!! If you can do like you normally do and keep the leaves green, then this spring it will hopefully continue filling fruit!
Good luck and keep us updated!

Thank you for the reply, I will do just that. Should any supplement be added to the soil during this time, or only water? Thanks again.

Re: Dwarf Brazilian flower-Zone 7a...now what?
Appears last of the sun for awhile..and being my first real flower I went a little camera happy. Was exciting to see it opening up so much. Soon I will be moving to the garage.

Re: Dwarf Brazilian flower-Zone 7a...now what?
Looking good! On your question I would only apply Small amounts of water. It will not be growing much, so it will only need tiny amounts of water.
Good luck and keep up updated. Congrats!
