Dw. Namwah & Raja Puri-how long from...
From flower to ripe bananas- for a Dw. Namwah & RP-how long does it take approx. for each?
Lawler p.s. If it's relevant, the Dw.Nam is about 13-14' in height and huge flower is coming out at about 8'.

Re: Dw. Namwah & Raja Puri-how long from...
Depending on time of the year and weather, Dwarf Namwah here in San Diego has taken between 5 to 7 month from first hand of fruits to ripening and yellowing.

Re: Dw. Namwah & Raja Puri-how long from...
We're in zone 8b... SW of Houston. Wow...5-7 months?!? Is that par for the course?
What about Raja Puri? Is it common -or late- that the DNam and RP are just now (in the last couple of weeks) putting on a flower? ANY experiences with either would be truy appreciated! Lawlers

Re: Dw. Namwah & Raja Puri-how long from...
Namwa bananas on my property are ready to harvest four months after the first hand appears. If you wait too long to harvest the bananas will split.
