Drone pics of my mini farm

Friend with a drone came and took some photos and video of my properties and banana patch.

Click the link for a short video.

This is the area I began planting in August, 2014

3 of these 3 lots are mine. The one undeveloped one is not.

I haven't had to water in weeks, but just drag around a hose when I need to. We get 100" per year so it's only an issue during droughts.

Excellent pics...it's a sign of the times when we can now take aerial photographs of our own property...it must be doing a lot of professional photographers with helicopters out of work!

Is that Araucaria heterophylla I see along the house and poking up all over the neighborhood?

I can never quite remember if what Hawaii has a lot of are Cook pines or Norfolk pines. But yes, that's what they are. None are mine. I'm not especially fond of them.

According to this they are probably Cook pines, Araucaria columnaris. Hawaii Horticulture: Norfolk or Cook Pine -- Which is It?

Hey, that was very informative Rob, thanks. :08:

I like them, but then again, I'm a conifer guy.
