Re: Double Mahoi Good ?
Mahoi are good tasting . fast growing and pup a lot. because they are cavendish . my plants bloom at about 7 feet. as to zone 9 I'm thinking they might not do well in a deep freeze. . then for 15 bucks id try one.
Asking me howvthey taste ? I like home grown cavendish just fine. ..they produce nice size fruits. any spelling errors is because I'm on my phone.driving with 3 people singing Lady GaGa songs.. o came to bananas for some sanity

Re: Double Mahoi Good ?
They're a Cavendish type, so, they're as tasty as Cavendish can get. They fruit nice and short which is a plus, and the second gen and forward, so long as they're still attached to the mother corm, will give you a double or triple crop of bananas, which is also nice. As for your zone, they're pretty cold sensitive like all other Cavendish, so I'd say it would only really work if you gave it protection every winter. Wrap the P-stem well and cover the surrounding soil.
