Dominican Republic
Sister went there for a Honey Moon. What nanners grow there? She got a pic standing next two a stem hanging down with a TON of nanners on it! Also that huge bird of paradise banana plant.

Re: Dominican Republic
Blownz - here we have several types of plantain, dwarf cavendish, dwarf williams, manzano, blue java, orinoco, dwarf orinoco, ladyfinger, orito, 1000 fingers, saba, reds, and probably lots more - they all grow well here and the bunches are usually huge.
