Dole Baby bananas

My grand kids love the Baby bananas.

Supposedly they are Nino varieties.

Where can this variety be purchased and is there anything similar to it and cold hardy and not to tall?

You could easely find better varieties than that that grow better in your region...

My friend just bought some of those. Said monzano at the very bottom. Thats a pretty common variety. I don't have them cause I get a bit cold.

The "baby bananas" in the store are indeed Nino/Sucrier. How tall is too tall for you? There are equally good/better cultivars which produce similar fruit. Look into Mysore, Manzano, Dwarf Brazilian, and Raja Puri.

I have Dwarf Brazilian and Rajapuri.

Will see how they taste once they fruit.

Regarding height since I now live in zone 9b I will have to protect them. Ten ft or less in height would be just fine.
