![]() OK I could just Google it BUT where's the fun in that. I bought some of these from a Mexican fruit stand and they are pretty good. Anyone know what we would call these?
Anyone growing them? Anyone else seen them in the stores? From our search engine Bananas.org - What's in a PLU? "Morados or Macaboo bananas"

![]() Ok thanks Gabe and all,
I want to grow this banana. I read that it is cold sensitive and wiki said z8-9. I live in 8b/9a. So what are my cahnces of sucess. For this banana I am willing to protect in the winter. I am thinking that I should grow the dwarf red. Is anyone else growing this banana in my area? I consider the taste of this one to be dead on for what I want.
