![]() I had someone tell me he has personally done it several times and it spreads out ripening time so you don't have to eat them all at once. Anyone know about this from experience?

![]() I tested this with 2 bunches of Orinoco! I did NOT notice any difference! I still think the best way is cutting each hand off. To me this is the best you can get to spreading them out! Also I find the sun seems to ripen them/turn them yellow. I haven’t tested this yet but maybe keeping them in the dark? I’ll try to test it if winter doesn’t wipe out my pstems again!
