Hello, I have only been growing a few years, so hopefully someone more knowledgable than myself will chime in. Are these your overwintered plants? Any info will help on current water/ light conditions. I have seen this in my plants before..actually 2 of mine currently look like yours that I overwintered. Mine had soil that was much drier than others I had overwintered with. Looks like you have a new leaf shotting up..so, I would not worry one bit. Come spring and summer the plant should work itself out.

I have been growing them for a few years.this year I wanted to try to wake them up earlier.usually I will wait till I can plant outside.the first leaves came out ok,but then they started to curl in.i didn't know if it is food water or pest.i can not see any sign of pest on the plant but haven't looked at the roots.if this is normal cool.

Since they have been over-wintered in the pots and you are trying to wake the plants up; probably time for some fertilizer. Resume your normal fertilizer program. Also, potted banana plants inside do not have the benefit of 'morning dew' or rain on their leaves and the lower humility of a house is not good for the plant. I suggest misting the plants a couple of times a day.

Did you recently fertilize? It looks like a possible "little too much" situation to me.

Bengal tiger nanas,

Those are nice plants are they Basjoos..?

I have plants that respond like that as well.

At the end of the indoor season our plants will have a few different looks which show its displeasures from being indoors. As one experiences more winter grow cycles you will be able to see predictable ways your plants respond.

For me, I think it is stress /indoor related.

Once the plants are outdoors they sort themselves out pretty quick
