![]() First, Great looking plant.
Just tossing this in... for thought. I have a few container musa plants which give me a lot of "looks". Some of the bad looks are just normal stuff which happens to a plant. I see a watering can.......smoking gun?? I keep many of my plants on the dry side, you might want to try it also just to see the reaction of your plant .....see that little pup? That means your plant is still good. Actually those are bottom leaves which are the oldest for the very young plant . Those usually are the first to go during hot stressful conditions. Here is a response to a similar post which might help you. Need help with my musa basjoo |

![]() Thank you both for your responses, much appreciated!
Richard: you mentioned that a large pot is OK for Katy apricot. I have a full-size Katy inground, LOVE the taste of this Katy variety, production is very variable. Looking for a another one. I'm out of room in the ground, so a container would be great. I don't see the dwarf Katy at big box stores. Do you have any leads in CA for one? I'm in the middle of the state, so I can go north or south. Thanks! |

![]() The only way you could overwater that pot is to submerge it in a pool.

![]() What do you mean by full size Katy apricot? They are usually sold on semi dwarf rootstock. Check the DWN website for retailers.
