do they like this weather?

thats my question,
the night temperatures are 14c/57f and the daytemperatures are 21c/70f.
for the next 2 weeks the weather will stay like this, with maybe a shower and quite windy.
how will the growth be with this weather ?
I think they grow quit slow but maybe they just had to settle in their pots?
thanks

I suppose well both find out. Our temps here have been really warm this week but are in the same range as yours for the next week. Growth for the last while has started to take off... so well see if the cooler temps give the plants a rest and they slow down before it warms up and they take off again.

Yes cedardave is right. At an average of 14°C the banana stops growing. Your banana will grow slowly. I have the same problem in Buenos Aires were in winter we have low max. temps. between 15 to 20°C in the month from June to August. The banana survives this. In summer they recover. You only have to protect them before temps. below 0°C in winter and you can enjoy your bananas.
