Do theese exist: Dwarf blue java

the blue java banana viarety interests me but im not sure if it has a dwarven viarety or not. so im asking here. Anyone have some experience or tried to breed up some seeds? i wanna figure this out to determine growability (ill probably build a rig that allows me to condense my reapers and pineapples, to grow more bananas. its all going on hydroponics in some form.)

Blue Java is a variety in the Ney Mannan subgroup and likely a sport or mutation of one of the other varieties from that subgroup. If you're looking for a dwarf variety search the entire subgroup. I'm not aware of a dwarf variety being commercially available but certainly wouldn't be surprised if any exist or have existed in the past.

Don't confuse 6.1.2 (Dwarfism) with 6.2.1 (Pseudostem height)

There was a study done by CIRAD using a Ney Mannan variety that ranged in pseudostem height from 2.1m to 2.9m.

https://www.cirad.fr/en/

If you are interested in seed production with Ney Mannan there was a study done by IITA.

There were plenty of errors on that website and they didn't say it was a dwarf.

Canada Banana Farms has two locations in Ontario.

Ah, gotcha. do you by any chance know of any good places where i could rent a little space to cultivate taller stuff and try and breed some shorter plants?
