Default Disease in the roots

Several of my plants in pots developed some kind of rot in the roots. The main stem would show it too.

I believe it was due to over watering during this past winter.

Any ideas?

I would dig up the corms; clean all black and soft spots off; and disinfect with bleach water. ... Repot in course sand and hope for a pup to come up.

Over watering can do it, most of my plants get no water though the winter. That means 5 or 6 months here.

I agree with you.
Wow does not look good.
On the bright side...you will have a few more pups to deal with.
