Diference between coconut husk fibre and coconut fibre?
 
I have just had a loveley variegated Florida variegated musa rot,the seller in Thailand said I must use "Coconut husk fibre and Not Coconut fibre! I thought they were the same.In answering can someone tell me what Coir is exactly

More than you ever wanted to know about coir.

A little info on using it as a growing medium.

The seller may require that you use it as a medium as a condition of his guarantee but it certainly is not the only medium suited to growing bananas without rot.
