that when you cut your pups off at ground level straight across and keep them cut, it's makes a bigger corm on pup.
the pups just kept regrowing with a larger diameter each time..

It's funny you should mention that. I have started noticing the same thing on my plants this year. I used to remove the pups but now I just decapitate them at ground level with a sharp knife. I noticed the other day that some of the corms asscoiated with those pups (some of which I have cut 5-6 times already this year) are giants.

That should be a good technique in trying to make ensete varieties pup.Anyone tried it yet?
