Very cold stressed corms may take quite a while before they show anything and it may be midsummer till you start seeing pups on them. It happened to me the one time the pseudostems died to the ground in Melissia from the cold...Nothing till midsummer came and even then growth on the couple pups that appeared was extremely slow for months. Only next year did they start to grow better and get some mass on them.

Location and luck play a big role as well as the degree of cold damage. Bananas can wake up very slowly if cold was of long duration(my experience was with "Ice Cream",the Pisang Awak subgroup one).
Wish your bananas fast and full recovery!

Maybe they are slow because the soil temperature is still low?

Since they are cousins that could be.. They are also in the open, having no protection from anything from the North Winds.. Frost cloth & a heat tape couldn't keep up as cold as it did get..:^)

Well the 2nd to push is DB w/ 2 pups depicted below, so the official looser whenever it decides to push is Goldfinger..

They are on auto-pilot pretty much based on weather. The FHIA-03 even after cutting half the corm away (on the large pup) The one left has taken off, and another pup has popped up off the Mother's ( the one that flowered last year) corm..

Well the 2 that are growing are doing good especially after the 2 1/4 inches of rain we had last night.. DB w/ 3 pups coming up now.. :^)

FHIA-03 Sweetheart is doing her thing.. :^)

And the Goldfinger has no movement.. I think she got smoked like my Winter Experiment..
