![]() Several months ago, I got a tray of each, Dwarf Cavendish and Margarita, from Agri-Starts. Some of each were sold off, and the remaining ones are coming along nicely.
Here's a Dwarf Cavendish that's starting to color up nicely. [IMG] The Margaritas now have about 15 inches of p-stem and, over all are about 30 inches. [IMG] One, and only one, of the Margaritas is showing some red coloration revealing it's possible Siam Ruby parentage. [IMG] |

![]() Nice John! Have you got them in full sun yet? Mine have been repotted and are now in full sun and I think the Margarita is showing a lot of yellow stripes on the leaves. I wonder if they are like the yellow hosta which require full sun to get the best color?

![]() It is known that 'Margarita' is just a green spor of 'Siam Ruby'. It is interesting though that you have a possible color reversion, usually colored plants may turn green but not be able to revert back to a colorful form.

![]() Very nice, John! Your plants look great. Yeah, like Gabe said, Margarita is a yellow/green version of the red Siam Ruby...and they are known for being unstable (at least SR). It'll be interesting to see how it turns out! My SDC used to have a lot of color but has been losing it recently now that it's older.

![]() I think when they ship out the margaritas they don't know for sure which ones are really going to stay yellow and which ones are going to be actually siams. Some of the siams are mixed in the margaritas. I had 3/18 that turned out to be red.
