The actual requirement is growing a banana until it bears fruit - regardless whether it is an edible or ornamental type.

I'm late to the game but I'm working on that. I'd really prefer dressing silly and drinking some nice home brewed wheat beer (grain only) provided by my sponsor(s). Add something smoked low and slow to nibble on and I'd become that dancing Chiquita lady in a heartbeat!

Sort of. I pay my annual dues this month and remain a member of my rare fruit club. Everybody should join a local club and benefit from the speakers and the contacts. I now pay 1/3 of what the nurseries charge for fertilizer after learning about the local AG supplier. Also get to sell lots of naner pups at auction.

How many of youse guys can say they got to talk several times to professor Jonathan Crane , Department of Horticultural Sciences, University of Florida, Tropical Research and Education Center, Homestead.

Woooohoo Nanerr.

My EX ruined the Music Man for me; I avoided Robert Preston until Victor/Victoria. Caught it last night and enjoyed it again. He was very talented.

Thank you. Mandarin is probably kinda snobby but maybe I can don my impeccably white gardening gloves and "pass". The other I doubt would be a problem.

Great searching! "My hat's off to you" as my HS principal would say when he was pleased. (Emphasis on the "hat's" and said very long and s l o w. Made us all giggle but I doubt any of us have forgotten him.) Joe Link, owner of the bar where I cocktail waitressed (BYOB) as an 18 year old sophomore in Asheville also left an impression. "I'm going to tell you like it T I S." as he slammed his fists on the bar to make sure you were listening. We did or at least I did. He scared me.

I'm much too shy to act except the one time my HS speech teacher (in charge of dramatic productions) conned me into playing the part a shy girl in Up the Down Staircase. I think I was Carole and messed it up; I was nervous, not an actress and did not suit the character with my matter of fact/sarcastic delivery. Went to college that fall and froze when I was videotaped for speech class. Skip ahead a few years...I'm in front of a live (political/critical) audience, being filmed for local TV and didn't care; I spoke passionately from my heart about a zoning issue and won. Local "officials" congratulate me so soundly I wondered if I should bow/curtsey or toss my cookies given their praise. Morons.

My life experiences...thus far...
