that just doesn't seem right..... how can they take that?... How cold did it get?... you have some with bananas on them..... will they die?...

Bobby, these are just some pictures I found using Google. I would imagine that everything you see pictured with snow on it either died or was seriously stunted until spring.

Oh, you know, Mitchel... you're probably right.. I bet this is South Texas. I also belong to the International Palm Society and one of the members who live near Galveston posted pics with a foot of snow all over the palms last year - they took a serious beating..... I was getting excited over nothing.... I thought.. hey, if they can take that kind of snow then I could get rid of my greenhouse here in New York and plant them in the ground - year round.... Oh well.
