Darn I was following this link keeping my fingers crossed for the best. So sorry. :( Is this a common problem with this type? Cavendish.

Well where its normally sealed pretty tight up top mine wasn't and was holding alot of water in the stem. Dwarf Cavendish(s) are prone to Cigar end rott from what I have read. I chopped her off at the base. The rest of that corm is getting moved tomorrow. :^)
