CFL lights
Here is a pic of a CFL Photo 105 Watt, 400 Watt output. Note the size, 12" lg. Monster. Amazon $20 for two. I hung 2 over whats left of my 4 plants that are in pots in a heated (50/75). I should have done this when I brought them in two months ago. Check out other pics on my Flicker (Alan Hulva).

Good lord, that is a lot for 1 bulb.
I bought a cheap 5 arm gooseneck lamp from HD and slapped 23w CLFs in it. |

Your right, they are as big as they get with a standard base. The price was for two (2) bulbs. I don't think you can have too much light.
