Cavendish After a thunderstorm

Hi all
We had a thunderstorm last night
With strong wind,
Almost destroyed completely the banana tree

Sure, I have been doing that for a few years here. Check YouTube for video's on wintering over Banana's for more info on that.

the plant is fine by the way
a little bit of shredded leaves is no big deal

i would dig it up before night temps drop below 6C

Thanks guys
should I remove all the leaves?
So exposing the roots would be fine ?
Thanks again

Don't worry about the leaves, that's just what bananas do when it gets windy. I live near the ocean and we have strong winds regularly. My Bananas look like that all the time and they do just fine.

I just stand them up as much as possible. Some are too tall and I have to lean them over.
