Caterpillars eat up a banana leaf
This is my first experience that numerous small green caterpillars eat up a
banana leaf. I therefore cut this leaf off and burned it. I have thought very little harmfull insects give pest damages to banana plants. Does anyone have the same experience with this? |
Re: Caterpillars eat up a banana leaf
Cutworms! oh noes. good thing you burned it! They're not as uncommon as you think, but they're not caterpillars either. If I recall correctly, they're fly grubs of some sort. If they come back, try spraying your tree with neem oil.
