Drummer Cardaba TC with pup

What are your experiences when this happens? Does the pup outproduce the main plant? Does it slow its growth? I'm thinking the main plant will take off and things will normalize between the two.

Looks like a bonus plant that you can separate later or sell.

I think your right that the plant will sort itself out in in a few months then you can decide what to do.
Two bunches of bananas are better than one

Great looking tc with a pup .

I have no experience with Cardaba, but, generally suckers slow the growth of the main banana plant. It is common practice to remove or destroy suckers. To get my 'Truly Tiny' to bloom, I had to destroy suckers once or twice per week. The easiest way for me to do this was to use an electric hand drill with an oversized bit.
