The only time I've seen something like that was when a sprout of ginger grew up near one of my Orinocos. Any other plants near there? Paul |

Even though I have Photoshop, I'm ashamed to say I have never used it. :)
There is nothing really close to it. The closest bananas are a few feet away, and they aren't red bananas. Oh, and there is a clump of Fountain Grass by it. :nanerwaveytrain: |

Sorry to burst your bubbles folks. That is quite a common occurrence. Most sprouting, and especially when it has gone down cooler, they would initially come out with red pigmentations on the outer sheaths, and then it would gradually disappear through time. One thing for sure, it is going to be a sword pup.
