Never added man-made potassium supplements to the fields and highly doubt that we're producing Potassium-Lite banana fruit. ![]()

![]() I would love to use more organic yard waste. But we live by a woods and if to much debris are laying around roaches will be around in the yard.I don’t want them around the house and also spray all around to keep them away. I do use mulch and 10-10-10. Which is recommended or something similar for my yard as had soil tests done at a lab here. Was using banana fuel blue powder by in this yard it didn’t due anything. Years ago in another place it worked good but yard was built on a swampy lot though.

i was not explicit with this thread, but i was attempting to see if anybody posting was doing what i have been doing. i have burning wood and such in the hole and not sprinkling ash on top. i inadvertently came across this path 4 years ago. ash holds moisture up if done properly, i have been creating an ash bowl. and am having very good results with 15 mats so far. it takes me 2 weeks to prepare a hole. i will start a more explicit thread next spring.

if i would have been smart and could predict the future i would have had much of this property dug up and put in clay. i had 3 large banana circles with mulch that did not do that great. and now with garage an such getting to them would tear to much up for me to dig them out and do clay. i can run the equipment and i have very good friends who have them and the trucks. i ran across this when irma 5 years ago blew down 5 large blackjack oaks. up rooting 2, which i burned all those trees in those 2 holes and planted a dwarf maoli tc in one.
