If i get a small Abyssiniian, can it survive under gro-lux tubes for the winter?

Yes, I have managed to keep it in a south facing window in Norway during the winter.

No problem nucci! :0490: I could talk about bananas for days at a time!

I don't know how strong the sunlight is during winter at your latitude, but the best thing would probably be to keep it cool and as light as possible. If you keep it too warm without optimal light, it could grow like "spaghetti". These ensetes tend to grow fast.
BTW, if it's the Maurelli form it will probably stay green until you put it outside. In my experiene colour shows up best in natural conditions outside.

I think someone on this forum made up some kind of equation between temperature, light, and watering wich I found very ingenious.
