Default Can a corm have 2 blooming psuedostems at once?

I'm wondering because I have 2 Blue Java psuedostems of equal maturity that look like they're set to bloom next summer. Thinking of cutting down the weaker one so that the plant can put more resources into the stronger one. Or should I leave both and expect two batches of bananas next summer?

Each has its own corm. One is likely the pup of the other and connected via rhizome.

Yes, they can bloom at the same time, but depending on how large they are cutting one down now may or may not have any significant effect. For home gardeners, I normally recommend to keep any shoots so long as they are not in the way of each other or anything else. You will likely get more fruit overall from two potentially smaller bunches than from one potentially larger bunch, so I would keep both. How tall are they at this point (pseudsotem height only)? Can you post any photos?

Don't cut. Just apply fertilizer and water for 2 plants, of which they are.
