Richard,
Regarding sweetheart, the mature ones they have at Quail gardens (I'm sure you've been there) are just like Tony said -- 10-12' and incredibly stout -- the thickest variety they have, and they have many. I'd estimate close to 2' diameter. EDIT: Ok, just went back to Quail Gardens today -- I'll be realistic, they are more than 1' diameter but not 2'. But they do have the thickest p-stems of any of the varieties they have.
