This was my second winter with banana plants inside. For some reason I had no spider mites this winter. The first time they were loaded with them by the time spring arrived.

Spider mites are horrible usually for indoor bananas. Did you have more humidity in the house this winter for some reason that they didn't get it this winter? Anyway, good going.

I did have three humidifiers going 24/7 for other plants and my orchid all winter long. How does the humidity keep the spider mites in check?
