![]() I bought a TC banana from bananagardens some time ago. My kid pinched off the top part, leaving just a 1/2 inch stub. That banana never grew back.

![]() Bananaman, I know this post is going off topic now but hopefully the others won't mind.
I have also had cat's most of my life but none have been anything like this one. She is a Siamese/tabby mix. I believe the siamese is where she get's the pointed ears, shiny fur, and veeeeery vocal personallity. Here name is Zebrina but we also call her Beebee. She is 3 years old. We also have another tabby named Star - aka: Beamer She is 16 years old. I later reallized after we got Zebrina that is is common for breaders to use siamese to cross bread with wild cats, such as the Savannah Cat. She is quite the character, can often be found riding around on my shoulders and absolutely hates the family dogs. Here are some pics of her at various stages: ![]() Zebrina @ 8 weeks ![]() Zebrina and Star ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here you can see just how close Zebrina and I are - LOL |

![]() It now has about 2" of new growth. For a few days I could only see stem, but today I can see a tightly furled leaf beginning to emerge.

![]() Just a quick update,.....
The plant is doing great. It has a new leaf and another one is about a day away. A small pup has also just broken the surface. Being a banana newbie, I think the pup is the most exciting part! |

![]() After all these years I still go out and look at all the plants to see if I have a new pup. Still get excited HA.
Glad it is coming back strong. Terry |
