Default Brazil banana suggestions?

I'm spending a couple weeks in Brazil in November (Rio, Salvador, Manaus) and just looking for banana-related suggestions in terms of parks, hiking areas, botanical garden with bananas I haven't seen elsewhere, and markets to taste different bananas there. I imagine there will be lots of Brazilian bananas to eat, as in the cultivar.

Default Re: Brazil banana suggestions?

Hi,

if you go to the state Sao Paulo, then you can go to Angatuba, there is also a collection of bananas under A MAIOR COLEÇÃO DE FRUTAS DO BRASIL , the banana collection of my friend and of mine is to find under Família das musaceae

Best wishes
Joachim
