![]() Got this Blue Java from TopTropicals.com and everything else that I have got from them has grown out as expected... so fingers crossed for this as well. So I noticed a leaf a week ago that was 1/3 the size of all the rest and then this started poking its head out 2 days ago. Probably going to provide a bit of support just to be on the safe side but it seems pretty upright and sturdy. From what I have read I won't be able to verify this as the real deal until it starts to fruit, but if anyone has any other ways to identify it, I would love to check.

![]() It's pretty rare to find blue java at nurseries, as they don't tissue culture it, they'd need to have it as a pup from a true blue java. Good luck! Keep posting photos as the bananas come out.

![]() I agree, it looks like a Musa Namwah. These are often sold online and at nurseries as Blue Java. I only know of several places to get the real deal when they have them. Those bananas taste better than what you can get in the store so you still made out.
